| Description | This is a June 1981 Delorean DMC 12 Sold new in New York in January 1982, the car has 3 owners from new including essex boatyards, the first owner kept it for 23 years garaged and as a result has only covered 15,000 miles. The second owner brought it to the uk in 2006 and We bought it August 2009 for some promotional work the car has MOT and TAX until August 2010 and was fully serviced in August 2009 and has covered approx 2000 miles since. The car drives beautifully, you would not believe it was built in 1981! Its the rarer fuel flap in the bonnet with black interior model, it is left hand drive with a 5 speed manual gearbox. For those people that don't know its body is made of stainless steel and was made iconic by the back to the future series of films. It is the biggest head turning vehicle I have ever had the privlige of driving, filling up with fuel takes a little longer in a DeLorean people want to talk to you and even have their picture taken! I will send more pictures by request, it is in a heated storage facility for the winter near our Essex HQ, the bodywork on this car is 100% the wheels are 100% the tyres are pretty much new the interior is the best I have seen and it is ready to be enjoyed. This car is original which as far as I understand is pretty rare these days, it even has the original stereo with aerial in the rear screen.
